Our optometrists are properly trained to assess children’s vision and eye health, even at a very young age. This exam allows us to determine if the child has strabismus (uneven fixation points), amblyopia (lazy eye), or if he or she needs glasses.

The Government of Québec program offers a $250 reimbursement following the purchase of eyeglasses or contact lenses for any child under the age of 18 with a valid Health Insurance Card. A prior eye exam is mandatory. This amount is fixed and must be paid by a parent.
